Palmerton police log

Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Criminal mischief:Tamatha Storm, 30, of Palmerton, was cited for an incident Sept. 21 in the 200 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Unlawful activities:Michael Miller, 28, of Lansford, was cited for an incident Sept. 17 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

DUI:

• Shane Smith, 42, of Palmerton, was charged for an incident May 16 in the 900 block of W. Princeton Avenue.

• David Greene, 38, of Coplay, was charged with DUI and speeding, for an incident June 26 on Route 248 east.

Drug charges:

• Mark Suchon, 55, of Palmerton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension, for an incident Aug. 28 at Delaware Avenue and State Road.

• Matthew Sywensky, 42, of Slatington, was charged with possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, replacement of glass, and operation of a vehicle without official certificate of inspection, for an incident Sept. 8 in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.

• Katelynn Solt, 22, of Lehighton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Aug. 28 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

Careless driving:Theron Jones, 20, of Palmerton, was cited for an incident on Sept. 25 in the 700 block of Delaware Avenue.

Junking of vehicles:Tyler Patterson, 22, of Palmerton, was cited for an incident Aug. 29 on Hillside Avenue.

Citations: Police also issued nine citations for speeding, six for traffic violations, three for maximum axle weight and three for vehicle violations.
