The ostrich or the eagle

Published October 07. 2016 11:35AM

Paraphrasing Secretary of State John Kerry - he recently stated the media SHOULD NOT report terrorist acts in our country. Why? Why not tell American people the truth? He doesn't want you to know about the truth of the consequences of terrorism.

John Kerry would NEVER espouse that dog unless approved by President Obama - that's how it works in the military and politics.

To shine a light on the consequences of uncontrolled immigration, look at what is happening in Sweden, Germany, France and all of Europe. The horrific acts of rape, child molestation, criminal activity and lawlessness flourishes. Additionally, individual acts of murder and bombings are on the rise. Do you see a pattern in the U.S.? You can ignore the truth, but you can't ignore the consequences of the truth.

Donald Trump is accused of being a bigot, sexist, etc., and of not having the "right" temperament to be president. Compare him to President Obama - charming, persuasive, likable and has the "right" temperament for the presidency - but it stops there. His policies, especially on immigration, are troubling and truly unthinkable.

I, and millions of others, prefer a brash, outspoken, unafraid leader who puts America first as opposed to the calm, collected, capitulate philosophy of this administration. In our troubled world and country we need a leader who gets results, a builder of jobs and infrastructure, a problem solver and a leader who will challenge the status quo.

Donald Trump has challenged the status quo of decades of failed policies. He is opposed by Democrats, mainstream republican party leaders like the Bush's, Romney, Ryan, Kasich, Fiorina and the list goes on; he is challenging biased media and unfair anchors. But he is supported by Americans who tire of failed Republican and Democratic policies and of broken promises they NEVER fulled or intended to keep.

It takes courage and unafraid leadership to challenge your own failed party ideas. Trump challenges our role as police of the world and NATO, our role on immigration and trade, our role on education and jobs, but MOST importantly the role of the National Sovereignty versus globalism. His theme "American First" tells you all you need to know.

Eight years ago I voted for Obama, believing he was the leader America needed. I was very wrong - look at his failed policies - more of the same. I will vote for Trump not because he is Republican but because he is visionary - "Make America Great again."

Edmund Burke said, "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to say nothing." I choose not to be of the Obama, Clinton, Kerry, Bush school where truth is twisted, ignored or hidden. I choose not to be an ostrich and hide the truth or my head in the sand.

I choose not to believe more problem promises and their vision for my future.

The last time I looked, the eagle was the national symbol - it represents freedom, liberty, justice and TRUTH. I refuse to be the ostrich; instead, I choose truth and to soar with the EAGLE - I invite you to join me.
