Exhibit by Kate Shelley Yeager at Moravian

Published October 13. 2016 12:06PM

Moravian College is currently featuring the work of Kate Shelley Yeager of Lancaster in the H. Paty Eiffe Gallery. The exhibit is open through Oct. 22. There will be a reception and a talk by Yeager at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Yeager's work explores secrets versus the value of shared experiences. This influences her blend of mediums, an exploration of figure juxtaposed with environment and their wear on each other.

The exhibit incorporates multiple mediums, including painting, drawing and photography, both traditional and historic processes. Her work has been exhibited in Philadelphia and New York.

Yeager received her BA in studio art from Moravian College in 2009. Upon graduation, she was an artist-in-residence at the Keystone Art and Culture Center in Lancaster. She is a graphic designer and teaches art at Linden Hall School in Lititz.
