PMC hosts mammogram marathon this month
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pocono Medical Center has offered several Mammothon events this month at PMC's Bartonsville Healthcare Center, 600 Commerce Blvd. in Bartonsville
The final opportunity will take place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
Every woman will have the opportunity to receive their mammogram via the Bartonsville Healthcare Center's Selenia Dimensions system's Genius 3D Mammography technology to provide the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art results possible in preventive screening.
No appointment or prescription is needed. For women without insurance, funds are provided by Susan G. Komen Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Linda Creed Foundation.
