State police report on thefts
Items stolen from pickup
A theft from a motor vehicle case is being investigated by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.
It happened between 9 p.m. Sept. 27 and 8 a.m. Sept. 28 ata Raccoon Run residence in Chestnuthill Township.
The victim is a 53-year-old man.
He said a hunting knife, aluminum briefcase and three oxycodone pills were stolen from his 2005 Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
Man victim of ID theft
State police at Fern Ridge said a Saylorsburg man is the victim of an identity theft case that was reported to them at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 17.
The victim isa resident ofRose Drive, Chestnuthill Township.
Police said someone used his personal information to open a student loan.
License plates stolen
State police at Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of a license plate from Otto’s Autos, 106 Camella Road, Chestnuthill Township.
The theft was reported at about 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1, by the victimis a Saylorsburg man. Police said there are no suspects.
The Pennsylvania-issued plate is numbered J31486J.
State police at the Fern Ridge are also investigating the theft of a license plate that was stolen off a vehicle in Chestnuthill Township.
The victim isa 33-year-old woman. She told police that between 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 19, someone stole the license plate off her vehicle.
Quad is stolen
The theft of a quad ATV from a shed on a property in Chestnuthill Township is being investigated by state police at Fern Ridge.
The victimlives on Storm Avenue.
The theft occurred between 2 and 3 a.m. Sept. 27 when someone entered the shed by removing the lock, located the key to the quad and drove it from the scene.
Prescription drugs stolen
Prescription drugs were stolen from a woman in East Side Borough between 5 p.m. Sept. 23 and 6 p.m. Sept. 29, according to state police at Fern Ridge.
The victim isa 48-year-old woman ofRocky Hill Road in the borough.
She told police someone stole the medication from her bag.
