Tamaqua man in jail, caught entering home

A Tamaqua man found himself in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville on Oct. 16 after he was caught breaking into his former residence.

Duane Roy Allen II, 28, was caught entering a home at 320 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, despite previous warnings from the owner to stay away from the property.

A records check turned up two outstanding warrants for Allen's arrest.

He was arraigned before duty District Judge Christina Hale on charges of burglary and criminal trespass.

Bail was set at $50,000 straight, which he was unable to post.
