Caregiver support group

The Alzheimer Association Caregiver Support Group at Blue Mountain Health System meets monthly from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the third-floor conference room at the Palmerton campus, 135 Lafayette Ave. in Palmerton. The next meeting is Thursday.

Donna Kravelk, a registered nurse on the Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit at BMHS, will facilitate the group. The intent will be to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.

Meetings are free. Anyone seeking support and knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia is welcome.
