Palmerton couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Millard Howell
Millard (Dixie) and Barbara Howell of Palmerton recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were married on Oct. 1, 1966.
The Howells are the parents of Randy Howell, who is married to Joyce, of Slatington; and the late Sandra Howell Roberts.
They have four grandchildren: Becca and Jennifer Howell, and Michaela and Alexandra Roberts.
Millard retired from Alpo after almost 36 years. Barbara retired from the Allentown State Hospital.
The couple celebrated at a surprise party held at their son's home.
