Walnutport couple celebrating 52 years
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley E. Treible
Stanley and Edna Treible, of Walnutport, recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 17, 1964, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Effort by the Rev. John Klein.
Mrs. Treible is the former Edna Emma Jones, daughter of Betty Jones of Lehighton, and the late John Jones. Mr. Treible is the son of the late Mitchell and Mabel Treible of Effort.
The Treibles have two sons: Paul M. Treible, and his wife April M. Treible, of Lehighton, and the late Jason A. Treible, who passed away in 1985 at age 10.
They have three grandchildren: Mitchel Treible, who serves in the U.S. Army and is stationed in Colorado; Matthew Treible, who serves in the U.S. Marines and is stationed in Oceanside, California; and Amanda Treible of Lehighton.
