World of Food Festival

The West End World of Food Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday on 19th Street between Liberty and Allen in Allentown, features nearly 20 food vendors representing food from around the world and some local favorites. There is live music all day, craft and packaged food vendors, and activities for children. The festival supports the West End Alliance Inc., an independent not-for-profit neighborhood development organization.

Music begins at 11 a.m. and continues throughout the day.

There will be craft and packaged food vendors selling items such as handcrafted wooden kitchen utensils, ceramic dinnerware and vases, honey and maple syrup, and penny candy.

Activities for children include a dress-up photo booth, food science experiments, arts and crafts and a plant-potting tent.
