Palmerton Police reports

Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

DUI: Keith Weaver, 56, of Palmerton, charged with DUI, careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, required financial responsibility, driving under suspension, registration and certificate of title required, fraudulent use of registration plate, and proper class of license required, for an incident Aug. 19 at Fourth Street and Delaware Avenue.

Fleeing or attempting to elude police: Tracey Hontz, 46, of Palmerton, charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, escape, driving under suspension, and reckless driving, for an incident Aug. 25 in the 500 block of Franklin Avenue.

Junked vehicles: Shawna Piccolo, 29, of Kunkletown, charged with junked vehicles, for an incident Aug. 28 at Railroad and Leonard alleys.

Citations: Police issued eight citations for vehicle violations, six for speeding, and one for traffic violation.
