Two Schuylkill men cited after incident

Two Schuylkill County men were charged following an incident that occurred at 8:44 p.m. on Sept. 8 in the area of 387 W. Main St., in the borough of Girardville.

State police at Frackville said Shawn Shoup, 40, of Girardville came to that location and started a long confrontation with Brandon Green, 21, of Girardville. Green then struck Shoup repeatedly and threw him onto the hood of a 2015 Jeep, causing damages to the vehicle.

As a result troopers charged Green with harassment and criminal mischief. Shoup was charged with disorderly conduct.
