Two drivers arrested for DUI in Monroe
State police at Lehighton arrested two people for driving under the influence on Sept. 24 on Old Route 115 in Ross Township. Both arrests followed stops police made for Motor Vehicle Code violations.
The first stop was made at 1:42 a.m., north of Mountain Road. A 20-year-old man from East Stroudsburg and was transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for a blood test.
The second stop took place at 2:02 a.m., north of Ross Road, resulting in the arrest of a 26-year-old Effort man.
Police did not release their names.
