Medicare annual enrollment sessions

Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will hold Medicare Annual Enrollment sessions Oct. 15 -Dec. 7 at the following locations:

• Mondays: Lehighton Senior Center, 243 S. Eighth St., Lehighton; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Tuesdays: Weatherly Senior Center, 335 Third St., Weatherly, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Evergreen Apartments, 1500 Evergreen Ave., Weatherly, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

• Wednesdays: Penn Kidder Jim Thorpe Senior Center, Route 903, Jim Thorpe, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Lansford Library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford; 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

• Thursdays: Palmerton Library, 402 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Sessions will be carried out by the Apprise Program, a free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians understand and make changes to Medicare health plans during the annual enrollment period.
