2017 election: Polk Township results

Democratic incumbent Michael Hurley won another term as Polk Township supervisor. He won the six-year term with 612 votes, defeating Republican Robert Butler who had 501 votes.

For the two-year term, Republican incumbent Carl Heckman had 806 votes to Democrat Joan McKinsey’s 317.

Carolyn Meinhart won another term as tax collector, with 657 votes. Her Republican challenger MiChelle Palmer had 476 votes.

Shirley Haydt, a Democrat, was unopposed for auditor, and Dwight “Ike” Christman was named judge of elections.

Haydt also won inspector of election, with 549 votes. Theresa Bond, on the Republican ticket, garnered 520 votes.
