Four citations issued for alarm activations

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks cited the owners of four properties for "false alarms to police" as a result of false alarm activations at their respective properties.

In each of the cases, police said the defendants caused or permitted four or more activations during a consecutive 12-month period.

Cited were:

Joseph Benckert, Albrightsville, for a property at 1423 Emerson Drive, Penn Forest Township.

Reinaldo Cala-Sanchez, Miami, Florida, for a property at 10 Cherry Lane, Penn Forest Township.

KB & T Bank, Brodheadsville, for a property at 2503 Chestnut St., Chestnuthill Township.

CVS, Brodheadsville, for a property at routes 115 and 209 in Chestnuthill Township.
