Special program for bereaved parents

Dylan and Gavin's Rainbow Ministry, an outreach to local chapters of The Compassionate Friends, grief support groups, and anyone who has experienced or knows of someone who has experienced the death of their child or children, will host Dennis Apple, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church, 150 Pilgrim Way in Brodheadsville.

Apple is a bereaved father, author, speaker and workshop presenter/grief counselor, as well as a retired minister. He will share a hope-filled message as well as welcome a shared discussion of the difficult and lifelong journey of a parent's grief. It will be a great opportunity to listen and/or share.

The evening will end with an outdoor lantern release in memory of deceased children. The event is free. Refreshments included. Friends and family are welcome.
