'Footloose'

Marian Catholic High School's Class of 2017 will presents the musical "Footloose" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. The show is directed by Amanda Belfiore, with Robert Valente as assistant director and Michael Brimmer as music director.
The production follows the story of teenage Ren, who moves to a small farming town with his mother. The strict edicts imposed by the local preacher, including a ban on dancing, is a far cry from the life he left in the big city of Chicago.
When the preacher's daughter sets her sights on Ren, her boyfriend sets out to sabotage the new kid's reputation.
The story is really about a father longing for the son he lost and of a young man aching for the father who walked out on him.
The cast includes: Jeff Thomas as Ren McCormack, Camaryn Wheeler as Ariel Moore, Gunnar Rehrig as Willard Hewitt, Natalia Konitzer as Rusty, Katie Blozusky as Urleen, Nicole Jordan as Wendy Jo, Robert Middleton as Reverend Moore, Madison Stoyer as Vi Moore, Matt Stanziola as Coach Dunbar, MacKenzie Joy as Eleanor Dunbar, Mike Witczak as Principal Clark and Julia Mussoline as Ethel McCormack.
Other cast members are Anthony Collevechio as Chuck Cranston, Mike Dubravski as Lyle, DJ Simmons as Travis, Michaela Susko as Lulu Warnicker, Zack Evans as Wes Warnicker, Devan Shimko as Cop, Brianna John as Betty Blast, Jarod Paisley as Jeter, Jake Paluck as Bickle, DJ Mummey as Garvin, Brianna Raabe as Cowgirl and Frank Blozusky as Cowboy Bob.
Also, Abby Rakos, Sarah Grega and Angelina Krupko as Cowboy Bob's Band; and Miranda Antiga, Jill Correale, Megan Ferello, Colleen Gallagher, Karlee Gimeno, McKenzie Habel, Kelli Hughes, Brenna Karnish, Alyssa Kubeyka, Kelly Kupres, Kristina Matunis, Jenna O'Donnell and Alise Shadle as townspeople.
A live pit band will accompany the show consisting of the following students: Zoryana Duda, Ben Ferko, Colleen Gallagher, Abby Haas, Josh Hurst, Jakub Kantyka, EJ Kolonsky and Emily Roberti.
