Arts grant information workshops

Lehigh Valley Arts Council will offer free grant information workshops designed to assist prospective artists, community groups, and arts organizations with the application process for the 2017-18 Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Project Stream Grant.

The PPA Project Stream provides up to $2,500 in grant funding for arts projects and activities benefiting the communities of Carbon, Lehigh or Northampton counties. Last year, it regranted $34,600 which helped fund 22 regional arts events.

If interested in applying or learning more, you are encouraged to attend one of the following workshops:

• May 4, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Anita Shapolsky Art Foundation, 20 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe

• May 9, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Lehigh Valley Arts Council, 840 Hamilton St., Allentown

• May 16, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Arts Establishment,; 945 Broadway, Fountain Hill
