Stolen car involved in Columbia County crash

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating the theft of a 2000 Honda Accord owned by a Saylorsburg woman. Police said the car was involved in a police pursuit in Scott Township, Columbia County, that ended when it crashed.

Police said the two-door, gray vehicle was removed from the driveway of aSilver Valley Court residence in Saylorsburg between 8:30 p.m.Saturday and 1:30 a.m.Sunday.

No details on the incident involving the crash were reported by the Fern Ridge barracks, but police are requesting anyone having information about the theft to contact them at 570-646-2271.
