Tractor-trailer crash on I-80 in Monroe

State police at Fern Ridge investigated a tractor-trailer crash along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Troopers said Gurvinder S. Mavi, 33, of Easton, was driving a 2007 Peterbilt tractor with trailer eastbound when the rig left the road on the left side and overturned, coming to rest across both eastbound lanes.

Mavi sustained minor injuries but did not require immediate medical attention. He was cited for the crash.
