State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 9 p.m. Monday along Hahns Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Kyle A. Miller, 21, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo eastbound when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve in the road. The vehicle continued straight through the curve and drove up an embankment where it struck two large trees head-on. After impact the Rodeo rolled over onto its roof and came to final rest on the roadway in the westbound lane facing east.

Miller was not injured, but his passenger, Kaitlyn M. Conner, 19, of Lehighton, sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene. The Rodeo sustained front-end damages and had to be towed.

Assisting troopers were a Lehighton EMS unit and volunteers from the Aquashicola Fire Company. Troopers noted the roadway was wet from a recent rain.
