Burglary is investigated in Polk Township

State police at Lehighton said a garage was entered in Polk Township between 9 a.m. July 31 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 5.

The burglary happened in the 200 block of Harrity Road.

Police said the intruders also attempted to gain access to the home of the victim.
