Carbon couple injured in Lehigh crash
A Carbon County couple was injured in a rear-end crash in Lehigh County that occurred at 1:12 p.m. Jan. 25 along Route 22 at the Route 309 overpass in South Whitehall Township.
State police at Fogelsville said a 2016 Kia Optima operated by Kenneth F. Cahill, 77, of Lehighton, rear-ended a 2016 Ford F150 truck driven by Peter J. Hosak, 59, of Allentown, as he slowed down for traffic ahead of him.
Cahill and his passenger, Barbara A. Cahill, 86, of Lehighton, were taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Hosak was not injured.
The Ford was towed from the scene.
