No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 10:51 a.m. Jan. 26 on Interstate 80 in East Side Borough.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said the crash happened when a 2007 Ford Focus driven by Angeline M. Longo, 21, of Freeland, was passing a 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Roger Edwards, 49, of Orange, New Jersey.

Longo passed the rig and without clearance struck it, causing the Focus to cross over the right lane and strike a bridge rail with its right side. It needed to be towed. The tractor-trailer was driven from the scene.

Police said Longo was cited in the crash.
