Gallery exhibit at Tamaqua art Center

An art gallery exhibit featuring the work of Paula Zelienka of Palmerton will open on March 2 at the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua. An artist meet and greet session will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Zelienka works with watercolors and acrylics and has been teaching art classes at St. John Neumann School for more than 10 years. She also offers private paint parties and fundraiser events at the art center.

She has studied at Northampton County Community College as well as taking lessons from artists Mary Kocher and William Wentz.
