Man's belongings set on fire in Chestnuthill

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident whereby a man's belongings were removed from his residence and set on fire. The incident happened between 1:30-2 a.m. Feb. 6 at a Briar Lane, Chestnuthill Township, location. The victim is a man from Effort. Police said a woman from Effort removed his clothes, cellphones and jewelry from the victim's residence, placed them in the backyard and set them on fire.
