Published February 22. 2017 01:08PM

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that was reported at 12:58 p.m. on Feb. 14 along Route 115 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to the crash and found that a northbound Honda Civic, operated by Linda Albanese, 55, of Blakeslee, drove off the shoulder to avoid another vehicle that had entered her lane of travel. Police said she then overcorrected, crossed back into the southbound lane and was struck by a sport utility vehicle operated by Jordan Jones, 27, of Albrightsville.

Jones and two passengers, Adrienne Jones, 52, and William Campbell, 53, both of Albrightsville, and Albanese suffered injuries, police said. The police report did not indicate if they required immediate medical attention.

Police were assisted at the scene by volunteers of the Tunkhannock Township Fire Company and Pocono Regional EMS unit.
