Man jailed for Legion entry
A Schuylkill County man was jailed Wednesday on charges he burglarized a county Legion home.
State police at Frackville said on Sunday troopers responded to the American Legion home in the 1000 block of West Main Street, Girardville, for a reported burglary.
The investigation led to Michael Butler, of Ashland. A warrant was obtained for his arrest.
On Wednesday, Butler was located in Frackville and taken into custody. He was arraigned by on-call District Judge David J. Rossi, of Tremont, on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief.
Bail was set at $25,000 which Butler could not post. He was then taken to the county prison in Pottsville.
