Unruly offender jailed after Ross incident
State police at the Lehighton barracks said an offender who was committed to the Blue Ridge Academy, 213 Blue Ridge Road, Ross Township, was jailed after he became unruly and assaulted several staff members while he was being detained.
The incident happened at 7:14 p.m. Dec. 22. The victims are a 32-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, all from Saylorsburg.
Police, who did not release names, said the offender, an 18-year-old man from Brookhaven,was arrested after the incident and temporarily lodged in the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville.
