Kresgeville woman cited in one-car crash

State police at Lehighton cited Kelly Zeruth, 39, of Kresgeville, after a one-car crash at 8:01 a.m. Dec. 29 on Polk Township Road, about three-tenths of a mile north of Route 209. She was not injured.

Police said she was driving a 2006 Ford Focus southbound, attempting to negotiate a left curve when the vehicle began to slide on the snow-covered roadway.

The car went off the right side of the roadway and struck and drove over a log, coming to rest partially on top of the log.

The vehicle was towed.
