Diabetes support

St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus hosts a diabetes support group every three months starting at 7 p.m. March 29 in the Miners Community Room at the hospital. Other dates are June 13 and Sept. 13.

Participants will learn about the causes and effects of the disease; ideas to increase self-help, problem solving and prevention measures; and provide encouragement when it comes to mutual problems and accomplishments.

Interested parties are advised to call ahead of time, at 570-645-8107, to confirm the session hasn't been postponed.
