Saylorsburg man hurt in accidental shooting

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating an accidental shooting that happened around 4 p.m.Mondayon Tittle Road in Ross Township.

Police said a Saylorsburg man, who was cleaning his Kel Tec .22 Magnum pistol, accidentally shot himself in the leg when the firearm discharged.

The man was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg, in the West End Ambulance.
