Man issued citation for kicking his dog
Michael John Yannes, 62, of Saylorsburg, was cited by state police at Fern Ridge for cruelty to animals after witnesses told police he kicked his dog after it urinated on the floor of the Tractor Supply store, 1580 Route 209, Chestnuthill Township.
The incident happened at about 12:42 p.m. Jan. 14.
Police said after Yannes kicked the dog, he continued to lift it by its collar and carried him out of the store.
