Paint the Mountain Pink

The fourth annual Paint the Mountain Pink breast cancer event will take place at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. The first 200 lift ticket purchasers will receive a free bandanna, compliments of Shawnee Mountain Ski Area.

The grand raffle prize is a Ski & Stay package from Killington Mountain Lodge, Killington, Vermont. The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. The winner does not need to be present to win. For raffle tickets (available in advance and on-site) and a complete list of prizes, visit hopeforstrength.com.

Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Hope for Strength Breast Cancer Fund. The purpose of the fund is to minimize the financial and emotional impact of breast cancer diagnoses and treatment. The fund will provide up to $500 to both male and female breast cancer patients of the Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center for basic living expenses.
