Woman takes drugs to hospital

Coaldale Police have cited Billyann Perez, 34, of Pine Street, Tamaqua, after an incident at St. Luke's Miners Campus on July 7.

Perez was in the emergency room at the hospital when she dropped two baggies onto the floor. Personnel left the baggies under the bed and contacted police.

Both bags contained a white residue, which field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Perez was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
