Motorcyclist injured in Monroe crash

A Whitehall man was injured in a motorcycle crash at 10:39 a.m. July 5 on Weir Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said John W. Singer, 64, was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono to be treated for suspected minor injuries.

Police said he was driving a 2009 Yamaha V Star that crashed after he lost control of it while attempting to round a left curve in the roadway.
