Carbon woman facing charges

A Carbon County woman is facing charges following a traffic stop in Lehigh County early Sunday morning.

State police at Fogelsville said Debra Kistler, of Lehighton, was stopped at 2:20 a.m. along Hamilton Boulevard at Route 222 North, in Lower Macungie Township, for a traffic violation.

Troopers said she was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine and in possession of methamphetamine. Charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance will be filed.
