Tamaqua driver cited after crash

A Tamaqua driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday at 9:56 p.m. along Route 309 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Rosewill T. Craigle, 25, of Tamaqua was driving a 2010 Ford Mustang too fast for existing conditions and failed to negotiate a curve, which caused the Mustang to spin out of control and strike a tree along the west shoulder.

Craigle and her passenger, Kaitlyn D. Bandell, 20, of Allentown, were not injured. The Mustang had to be towed from the scene.

Troopers cited Craigle for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
