Purse taken from car

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a theft from vehicle incident at a Schuylkill County restaurant.

Angie Matz, of Schuylkill Haven, reported someone entered her unlocked car while parked on a lot at the McDonald's restaurant along Route 61 in North Manheim Township, and removed a pink purse from the front seat.

Matz was in the restaurant when the theft occurred, sometime between 7:45 and 8 a.m. on Wednesday. The purse has a long pink strap with various breast cancer awareness ribbons on it.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
