League of Literaries at Tamaqua art center

League of Literaries writers group, for children in grades six and up, meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the Tamaqua Area Community Art Center, 125 Pine St. in Tamaqua.

The group, which is led by Mitchell Sabol, is free.

Learn how to get past your writer's block and how to get published. You may work on anything you wish, including songs, short stories and school assignments.

The group will enjoy pizza parties, field trips and other fun events throughout the year.
