Lehighton man faces harrassment charge

A Carbon County man is facing a charge of harassment, according to state police at Lehighton.

Gene Warnkin, 33, of Lehighton, is facing a harassment count following an incident that occurred on June 17 about 11:15 p.m. in the1000 block of West Sunset Road in East Penn Township. Troopers said Warnkin became involved in a verbal argument with a 60-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman. The argument turned physical when Warnkin made contact with both victims. Charges will be filed.
