DUI charges

State police at Lehighton reported on driving under the influence arrests made by troopers. Police have not released the names of those accused.

• On June 4 about 2:16 a.m. a 27-year-old woman was stopped for vehicle code violations along Route 209 in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. A breath test revealed a 0.15 BAC. Charges were filed.

• On June 16 at 9:36 p.m. a 21-year-old man from Saylorsburg, was stopped in the area of Route 115, near Hamilton Boulevard, in Ross Township, Monroe County. He was found to be DUI of a controlled substance. He was taken for a blood test with charges pending the test results.

• On June 18 about 12:25 a.m. a 51-year-old Kunkletown man was stopped in the area of Route 209, near Burger Hollow Road, in Polk Township. He was found to be under the influence and taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

• On June 19 about 8:46 p.m. a 45-year-old woman from Towamensing Township, was stopped along Pohopoco Drive at Deer Lane in Towamensing Township. She was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
