Law a bad idea

Dear Editor:

Regarding the recent gambling law proposed to the House of Representatives, I disagree with it. I think people should not be able to gamble in bars because some people cannot make good decisions when they are under the influence of alcohol.

This law could take away 18,000 casino jobs. It will take money from the Pennsylvania Lottery which helps senior citizens in the state. It will give more opportunity to gamble, which could lead to higher addiction rates. It could be harder for people with a gambling addiction to quit.
