Jessica Arner and Ryan Pistone

Dr. Kirk and Pam Arner of Lehighton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, to Ryan Pistone, son of Dominick and Teresa Pistone of Walnutport.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry in 2013 from Elizabethtown College, and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Cedar Crest College in 2016.

She is employed as a registered nurse in oncology at Geisinger Hospital.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Northampton High School. He is currently a part-time student at Temple University, where he is studying marketing. He is employed as a medical sales representative for Zimmer Biomet.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 30 of this year.
