Tamaqua police issue citations

Tamaqua police recently issued citations to two Tamaqua men following a fight.

Jason Edward Bankes, 24, of 21 W. Spruce St., and Anthony T. Parisi, 23, of 223 Pine St., were both cited for disorderly conduct after a fight on Feb. 23 at the corner of Cherry and Spruce streets.

Both men were bleeding when officers arrived shortly after 2 p.m. and neither wanted to press charges.
