Symphonic organ festival in Allentown

The "king of instruments" will be showcased this weekend in this organ plus orchestra concert featuring the famed Saint-Saëns "Organ Symphony" and a world premiere by Eric Ewazen. Maestro Hector Olivera takes the bench at the organ in Miller Symphony Hall.

Diane Wittry, music director and conductor of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, will conduct.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Miller Symphony Hall, 23 N. Sixth St., Allentown.
