Mahoning Township police

Mahoning Township police reported investigating the following incidents.

• At 3:10 p.m. March 6, a resident of the 200 block of Center Street reported a brick had been thrown at their vehicle causing damage.

• A customer at Lowe's, on Route 443, reported her purse was removed from a shopping cart around 12:35 p.m. March 1. The purse was later recovered in the parking lot, but the cash was missing.

Anyone with information concerning these two incidents is asked to call township police.

• Kody Barnhart, 21, of Palmerton, has been cited for disorderly conduct after police observed a firework being thrown from a moving vehicle exiting the Walmart parking lot on Route 443. The incident occurred at 12:14 a.m. March 8. The vehicle was stopped and police seized bottle rockets.
