No injuries in Schuylkill crash
No one was injured following a two-car crash Thursday afternoon in Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred at 4:50 p.m. while two vehicles were traveling north on Route 61 at Brick Hill Road, West Brunswick Township.
Police said a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, operated by Gale F. LeClair, 59, of Reading, Berks County, made a lane change from the right lane to the left lane. It left the roadway and struck the impact barrier, before it spun clockwise into a 2004 Buick Century driven by Samuel E. Smith, 77, of Mountville, Lancaster County, with Judith A. Smith, 75, of Mountville, as a passenger.
No injuries were reported. All three people were wearing their seat belts.
Police were assisted on scene by the Deer Lake/West Brunswick Fire Department.
The Sonic was towed from the scene.
