Shawnee Playhouse to hold auditions

Shawnee Playhouse, 552 River Road, Shawnee on Delaware, is holding auditions for children, age 7 and up, and adults for its 2017 summer season at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, from 1 to 4 p.m. April 2; and from 5 to 7 p.m. April 3.

Performers are being sought for the following shows: "Annie Jr.," Disney's "101 Dalmatians Kids," and "Bye Bye Birdie."

To audition, download and complete the audition form for your age group at www.theshawneeplayhouse.com/auditions. Arrive prepared with a song, at least 16 bars, of your choice. You can either sing a cappella or with a CD (a CD player will be provided.) The CD must be music only - no vocals. You do not have to sing a song from the show that you are auditioning for. Provide a head shot and resume if you have one.

Children will be asked to audition without a parent present. Parents will be asked to wait in the holding room and will not be allowed to listen outside the audition room.
